Anger 101: how your unexpressed rage is harming you and what to do about it

You’re doing the work. In therapy, coaching, emdr, craniosacral, chiropractic, [list next most awesome modality you’ve tried here]. And yet… the world is still the world and it wasn’t designed for you. So you’re exhausted, dealing with unfigureoutable body aches and issues, IBS, tightness… everywhere, and ocassionaly seethe with “fuck you” energy.

Some days you want to scream, other days you want to crawl into a hole, other days you’re ready to take down the patriarchy with your bare hands. You are trying to please everyone, and none of it is ever enough. Or, you’ve said ‘done’ to pleasing everyone, but you’re not quite sure what YOU want. Life isn’t bad, exactly. It’s just a lot. All the time. And… it’s not like it’s okay for you to actually express all those feelings. Because… that would be too much.

Sound familiar? A lot of us with womanhood in our bodies, our stories, or our spirits feel this.

And guess what the solution is?

Yeah, you got it. Expressing all those feelings we’ve been taught to subdue… specifically, anger.

In this 30-minute webinar, we will look at:

  • The research on what anger is doing to our bodies and our health (like this stat: angrier women have less breast cancer recurrence)
  • The connection between anger and inflammation
  • How the patriarchy benefits from sad women
  • How our beliefs about anger are getting in the way of us using this powerful emotion
  • Anger’s true purpose and why it’s vital to our health, our happiness, our satisfaction, and our aliveness.

We’ll also lead you through an exercise for you to get super conscious of how your anger is showing up.

Because the anger is there…

For some of us it’s nesting in the crevices of our organs, for others it’s coming out at the wrong people, for others it manifests as self-abusive language and shame.

The first step to using anger for its purpose is to notice it.

So that we can use it as fuel to go for what we want, be more direct, assert our needs, set boundaries, and validate ourselves.

Imagine a world lit up by women who don’t need others’ validation, who are okay being unlikeable because they know the work they’re doing is having impact, who are speaking their truths regularly and taking themselves out out situations that don’t serve them.

So, let’s talk anger, shall we?

At the end of this webinar, you will see how anger impacts everything in your life.

And… how essential it is to connect to, release, and express it.
